92-year-old woman fatally hit by truck in Hancock Park
The Los Angeles County coroner’s office on Sunday identified a 92-year-old woman who was fatally struck by a truck as she crossed a street in Hancock Park.
Alice Talamantes of Azusa was hit shortly before 4 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Third Street and La Brea Avenue, authorities said.
Police said she was in a crosswalk about 10 feet from the curb when a truck making a right turn struck her. She was pronounced dead at 5:35 p.m. at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.
The driver stopped at the scene and was not arrested or cited, police said.
