Football: Chaminade and Oaks Christian tied at half
Chaminade threatened to take the lead, marching deep into Oaks Christian territory late in the second quarter, but Donovan Lee fumbled at the two-yard line and Malik Cyphers recovered for Oaks Christian.
The teams remain tied, 8-8, at halftime in a game dominated by the defenses so far.
Brandon Dawkins has passed for 119 yards with two interceptions and Chris Davis has six catches for 63 yards and a touchdown for Oaks Christian. Donovan Lee has 96 yards and a touchdown in 17 carries for Chaminade.
