Baseball: City Section investigates playoff incident with umpire
City Section Commissioner John Aguirre said Tuesday that he is investigating an incident involving a spectator and an umpire that occurred at the conclusion of the Kennedy-Birmingham baseball playoff game last month.
A fan was ejected during the the game. After the game was completed, the umpire and spectators were allegedly involved in an altercation.
Aguirre said he is looking into the conduct of the umpire. School police were contacted.
