Baseball: Mike Najera is named head coach at Anaheim Canyon
Mike Najera is returning to Anaheim Canyon’s coaching ranks to be the baseball coach.
He was a successful assistant coach and head coach of the Comanches in the 1990s.
He was The Times’ Orange County coach of the year in 1996.
He stepped down after the 2000 season and continued as a teacher at the school.
