Pitcher Grant Hockin of Damien, a UCLA signee, was taken in the second round of baseball’s amateur draft by the Cleveland Indians at No. 61.
Former St. John Bosco infielder Taylor Sparks from UC Irvine was taken No. 58 by the Reds.
Outfielder Marcus Wilson of Gardena Serra went No. 69 to the Diamondbacks.
