Baseball: Pitcher Isaac Meza is latest from West Valley League to commit

The West Valley League is going to have another strong group of pitchers in the spring, with Birmingham’s Isaac Meza the latest to commit. He chose Cal State Bakersfield.
Meza lost to El Camino Real in the City Section playoffs last season.
Meza came on strong as a junior.
In another commitment, sophomore Jake Mosberg of Vista Murrieta announced he had chosen UCLA.
As a freshman infielder, Mosberg batted .414 with 15 RBIs.
