Boys’ basketball: Renaissance goes scoreless in second quarter

Sleep Train Arena has not been kind to Renaissance in the Division V state championship game. The Wildcats were outscored, 13-0, in the second quarter and trail Alameda St. Joseph Notre Dame, 29-8, at halftime.
Temidayo Yussuf, a 6-foot-7 senior who signed with Long Beach State, has 10 points and 11 rebounds for St. Joseph.
