Ethan Lopez is rising two-sport prospect
Two-sport standouts still exist, and one of them is junior-to-be Ethan Lopez of La Mirada.
He transferred last season from St. John Bosco, and after sitting out the first 30 days of the baseball season, he finished with a .346 batting average in 17 games as a starting sophomore third baseman.
This fall, he’ll be starting at strong safety for La Mirada’s football team.
On Thursday, Lopez received a baseball scholarship offer from Tennessee.
