Football: Beware of a healthy Jack Savage

Share

The word out of Anaheim Servite is that linebacker Jack Savage is healthy, so watch out.

A year ago, Savage played much of the season with a torn labrum. It was painful, and he contributed as much as he could.

As a senior, he’s going to be a key player for a Friars defense that will need to improve in its quest to topple St. John Bosco in the Trinity League.

“He’s played fast, he’s played aggressive,” Coach A.J. Gass said of Savage’s practice sessions. “He’s a force. I can’t wait to unleash him.”
