Two days after expressing displeasure about his contract situation in Seattle, Bobby Wagner signed a four-year, $43 million extension with the Seahawks that will make the 25-year-old All-Pro the highest-paid middle linebacker in the NFL. Also Sunday, Seattle added depth to its secondary by acquiring second-year cornerback Mohammed Seisay from Detroit for an undisclosed 2016 draft pick.

Defensive end Jeremy Mincey, seeking a contract extension in Dallas after leading the Cowboys in sacks last season, ended a brief holdout and reported to camp. . . . Indianapolis put 2013 NFL sacks leader Robert Mathis and former starting guard Donald Thomas on the physically unable to perform list. Carolina waived wide receiver Stephen Hill after he suffered a torn knee ligament in practice.
