No. 16 Oregon reclaims share of Pac-12 lead with 91-81 win over Oregon State

Freshman guard Tyler Dorsey matched his season high with 25 points, and No. 16 Oregon regained a share of the Pac-12 Conference lead with a 91-81 victory over Oregon State on Saturday night in Eugene, Ore.

Dillon Brooks added 17 points and Elgin Cook had 16 for the Ducks (21-6, 10-4), who tied a school record with their 23rd consecutive home win. Oregon and No. 12 Arizona have a one-game lead on Utah atop the conference standings with four games left in the regular season.

Chris Boucher had 14 points, nine rebounds and three blocks for Oregon, which went 29 for 33 from the foul line. Brooks made all 10 free throws, and Boucher was nine for 10.

Tres Tinkle had 23 points, equaling the freshman’s season high, to lead the Beavers (15-10, 6-8). Gary Payton II finished with 11 points, five below his team-leading average, after early foul trouble.

at Washington 64, Stanford 53: Dejounte Murray carried Washington with 25 points, Marquese Chriss added 11 and the Huskies snapped a four-game losing streak with a win over the Cardinal.

The Huskies (16-11, 8-7 Pac-12) picked up a needed victory to keep its slim NCAA tournament hopes alive despite Andrew Andrews failing to score in double figures for just the second time this season. Andrews, the Pac-12 leader in scoring at 20.4 points, finished with eight points, all coming at the free-throw line.

Murray made up for the off-day by Andrews and fellow perimeter shooters David Crisp and Dominic Green. The three were a combined 0 for 18 shooting. Murray was 10 for 14 from the field and added nine rebounds.

Rosco Allen led Stanford (13-12, 6-8) with 20 points, but no other Cardinal player scored in double figures.
