Update: The opening two games of the Darryl Sutter era both went to shootouts with the Kings winning the first, against the Ducks on Thursday, and losing the second, to the Sharks on Friday. The Kings have been unable to score more than two goals (in regulation) in their last 14 games. Penalty-killing continues to be a positive for the Kings. They killed off five penalties at San Jose and, over a longer stretch, 61 of their last 64.
