Nets guard Deron Williams figures to be the blue chip free agent this summer. “People get traded all the time,” he told Yahoo. “[Teams] don’t get backlash as an organization. If [players] leave, we are not loyal, we are ungrateful.... On Twitter … they are out there bashing me, saying to me I’m a traitor. I didn’t ask to be here. I got traded.”

Wizards guard Jordan Crawford scored 28 points in a recent loss to Indiana, but on a fastbreak, he uncorked a bad lob pass that was grabbed by Pacers guard Paul George. The official scorer put it down as a blocked shot. “Did it look like a shot? Nah, I was passing it. You know, I shoot a lot so they add it to the field goals,” Crawford said.

Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey was worn out by losing, so he saw a psychologist. “It was frustrating for the past couple of years, just mentally not being where you want to be as a team. All that stuff took a toll,” Stuckey told USA Today. “I think [therapy] was good for me.... I was going to get the feedback I needed to hear. That really helped out a lot. It was just positive energy. There was too much negative energy [before].”

TNT analyst Kenny Smith was asked by HoopsHype.com if the Lakers should retire Derek Fisher’s number after he retires. “I mean, they have too many great players that have come to Los Angeles to think about before retiring his jersey,” Smith said. “I think about Robert Horry, what he did for the franchise.... Getting [Fisher’s] jersey retired will be difficult.”
