NFL power rankings: Tim Tebow can’t stop Jets from sinking
Not only were the New York Jets eliminated from playoff contention with their 14-10 loss to Tennessee on Monday night, they sank five spots to No. 25 in the newest Times NFL power rankings, which were unveiled Tuesday.
The Jets even turned to Tebow for a series in the second quarter. He picked up two first downs, but the drive stalled from there after a sack, a delay-of-game penalty and an incompletion.

Minnesota moved into the top 10 on the heels of victory Sunday, replacing the New York Giants.
The complete top 10: 1. Denver; 2. Houston; 3. Atlanta; 4. San Francisco; 5. New England; 6. Green Bay; 7. Seattle; 8. Washington; 9. Indianapolis; 10. Minnesota.
