Note to Miami Heat fans who are paying hundreds of dollars to see superstar LeBron James in action: Check out the bike lane for free.

James, who is making $17.5 million this season, apparently enjoys riding a bike to games.

Yes, you read that right. The man who can afford any car in the world prefers to sit on a teeny tiny seat and pedal himself around.

James has pedaled from his Coconut Grove home to AmericanAirlines Arena three times this season, according to the Sun Sentinel. It typically takes him about 30 to 45 minutes by bike depending on how hard he’s going.

“People try to stop me but I’m in a zone,” James told the newspaper.

James, who is averaging 25.2 points and 8.5 rebounds a game this season, logs the extra miles for added conditioning. He apparently wants to become the first human to have 20-pack abs.

“I want to maximize everything I can and not waste an opportunity each and every day to compete and get better as a player,” James said. “I want to be the best. You’ve got to push the button sometimes.”

Last Saturday, James made the trek four times in one day, riding his bike to and from shoot around, and then to and from the game against the Washington Wizards.

“I got lights on my bike,” James said. “I’m serious. This isn’t a joke. Of course, safety first.”
