Rangers’ Roy Oswalt will start Monday against Angels
The Texas Rangers pushed back Roy Oswalt’s next start a day until Monday, and right-hander Colby Lewis underwent surgery Friday to repair a torn flexor tendon in his right elbow.
Oswalt missed his last start because of tightness in his back, but he will start Monday against the Angels.
Right-hander Scott Feldman, who had been scheduled to start Monday, was moved ahead to Sunday’s final game of a three-game series against the Chicago White Sox.
Lewis is expected to be out nine to 12 months. He will begin rehabbing in Texas in a few days.
