Looking ahead in the NBA: Miami at Orlando on Tuesday
Looking ahead
MIAMI AT ORLANDO: Tuesday at 4 p.m. PDT. TV: NBA TV.
It could be the penultimate game of Dwight Howard’s Orlando career, or just another game against an Eastern Conference power. The Magic has somehow thrived amid all the Howard trade talk, winning three of its last four games to solidify its hold on the No. 3 playoff seeding in the East. Included in that stretch was a 99-94 victory over Chicago at the United Center that ended the Bulls’ eight-game winning streak. Miami bounced back from a rare two-game losing streak with victories over New Jersey and Atlanta. Orlando and Miami have split their first two meetings, with the Magic winning, 102-89, on Feb. 8 in Orlando and the Heat prevailing, 90-78, on Feb. 19 in Miami.
