The Sparks will play each of their three remaining regular-season games at home, where they are 12-1 ahead of Thursday night’s game against Chicago. After playing Connecticut, the Sparks play Phoenix on Tuesday and Minnesota on Thursday. The Sun is in first place in the Eastern Conference, 1 1/2 games ahead of second-place Indiana. The last time the teams played, the Sparks won, 87-81, on June 13. Connecticut, which has won two games in a row, is led by Tina Charles, who is averaging 18.2 points and 10.6 rebounds a game. The Sun has the best road record in the league at 12-3.
