Balloons in the Clippers’ colors were hanging on Laker legend statues before the Clippers played the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday.

When the news hit Twitter that the likenesses of Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Jerry West and Chick Hearn had red and blue balloons attached to their limbs, Lakers fans were not pleased.

The balloon prank wasn’t the only jab that Clippers Nation took at the Lakers.

Before the Clippers game, Coach Vinny Del Negro was asked if the Lakers have a chance against the Spurs in another first-round series.

Del Negro’s response: “No.”

Here’s an assortment of their reactions:

Another Lakers fan thought:

@mike_bresnahan @tln24 Im not feelin them in our arena! But you know what? The first is coming up so they betta pay that rent! — Brandi ¿#Vino¿ 24 (@Lakerlove76) April 21, 2013

Even some Clippers fans weren’t amused.

@melissarohlin as diehard as I am, even I think it’s not right. I’d be more impressed w/ constructed cp3 statue next to magic. #NewShowtime — Bryant (@TDTCG) April 21, 2013
