AT THE PLATE: The Angels got only six hits and catcher Chris Iannetta was the only player to get more than one, going two for three to raise his average to .409. Kole Calhoun struck out three times in four at-bats.
ON THE MOUND: Jered Weaver and Jerome Williams were sharp, with Weaver holding Cleveland to three hits and striking out six over the first four innings before Williams came on to give up five hits over the final five innings, striking out six batters.
EXTRA BASES: The Angels are scheduled to play an intrasquad game at Tempe Diablo Stadium on Tuesday morning, with C.J. Wilson and Garrett Richards among those expected to pitch.
