EUGENE, Ore. -- How good is Oregon?

The Ducks are playing UCLA here tonight at Autzen Stadium, but a lot of us were looking south to Alabama for a comparison.

The question “How would Oregon do against Alabama?” can’t be answered until the schools play. Fans and experts have long wondered how the Ducks’ up-tempo offense would fare against the Crimson Tide’s defensive power?

We can only get a glimpse of a possible matchup through a common opponent: Tennessee.

Oregon trounced Tennessee at Autzen, 59-14, on Sept 14. Oregon led 59-7 after three quarters.

Alabama defeated the Volunteers on Saturday, 45-10, in an SEC game in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide led, 35-0, at halftime.

Oregon had 687 total yards and 29 first downs against Tennessee, while Alabama finished with 479 yards and 26 first downs.

So which team had the more convincing win over Tennessee?
