Friday night’s top high school football games

Newhall Hart (3-0) at Lake Balboa Birmingham (3-1), 7:30 p.m.: Having scored 50 or more points in each of its three games, Hart has replaced Corona Centennial as having the hardest offensive attack to stop, with quarterback Brady White leading the way. Birmingham will try to have sophomore running back Sterling Salguero churn up yards and time to keep the Indians’ offense off the field. The pick: Hart.

Gardena Serra (4-0) at Harbor City Narbonne (3-1), 7 p.m. (Fox Sports West Prep Zone): A year ago, Narbonne won this rivalry game en route to a 14-1 record. The Gauchos will finally have quarterback Eban Jackson, who broke his hand in the season opener. Serra is loaded with close to a dozen players who have college scholarship offers and hasn’t forgotten last year’s setback. The pick: Serra.
