College basketball roundup: No. 7 Mountaineers fall

Anthony Livingston made a three-pointer from the corner with 4.6 seconds left in overtime to give Texas Tech a 77-76 victory over No. 7 West Virginia on Tuesday night.

Jevon Carter missed a desperation shot for the visiting Mountaineers, who had won eight straight.

Nathan Adrian made a three-pointer in the final seconds of regulation for the Mountaineers (12-2, 1-1 Big 12) to tie the score and force overtime.

Zach Smith had 15 points to lead the Red Raiders (12-2, 1-1).

at No. 3 Kansas 90, Kansas State 88: Svi Mykhailiuk went the length of the court and threw in a finger-tip layup as the buzzer sounded to give the Jayhawks (13-1, 2-0 Big 12) a win over the Wildcats (13-2, 1-1).

Kansas pushed its home winning streak to 50 in one of the closest games during the streak.

at No. 6 Kentucky 100, Texas A&M 58: Malik Monk scored 26 points and the Wildcats (12-2, 2-0 SEC) rode an early 15-0 run to cruise to a victory.

Tyler Davis had 13 points for the Aggies (8-5, 0-2).

No. 13 Wisconsin 75, at No. 25 Indiana 68: Ethan Happ scored 19 points and Bronson Koenig added 17 as the Badgers won their ninth straight.

Wisconsin (13-2, 2-0 Big Ten) sealed the victory with free throws in the final minute.

De’Ron Davis, Juwan Morgan and Robert Johnson each finished with 12 points to lead the Hoosiers (10-5, 0-2).

No. 14 North Carolina 89, at Clemson 86 (OT): Joel Berry II had a career-high 31 points and Kennedy Meeks’ basket with 1:12 left in overtime put North Carolina ahead for good as the Tar Heels (13-3, 1-1 ACC) defeated the Tigers (11-3, 1-1) for the ninth straight time.

at No. 24 Florida 70, Mississippi 63: Canyon Barry tied a season high with 20 points and KeVaughn Allen added 14 for the Gators (11-3, 2-0 SEC), who led by as many as 19 points against the Rebels (9-5, 0-2).
