Derrick Rose, Pau Gasol provide offense for Chicago Bulls

Derrick Rose scored 25 points, Pau Gasol had 18 and the Chicago Bulls defeated the Washington Wizards, 99-91, Tuesday night for their fourth consecutive victory.

Washington scored 12 points in a row, 10 by John Wall, to take an 87-86 lead with 3 minutes 44 seconds to play.

Chicago responded with eight consecutive points, six by Rose, to lead, 94-87, with 1:48 to play.

Wall led the Wizards with 18 points.

The Bulls outrebounded Washington, 52-41.

at Cleveland 125, Minnesota 104: Kevin Love scored 20 points against his former team and the Cavaliers pulled away in the second half. Cleveland center Anderson Varejao had to be helped off the court in the third quarter because of a leg injury.

at Indiana 96, New Orleans 84: After sitting out the first 28 games because of a left knee contusion, point guard George Hill had 15 points, four rebounds and three assists in 21 minutes for the Pacers.

at Brooklyn 102, Denver 96: Joe Johnson scored 27 points, Mason Plumlee had 19 points and a career-high 13 rebounds, and the Nets rallied in the fourth quarter to improve to 11-2 against sub-.500 teams.

at Orlando 100, Boston 95: Tobias Harris scored 19 points and the Magic, which ended a skid at four games, hung on after leading by as many as 27 points in the second half.

Philadelphia 91, at Miami 87: Michael Carter-Williams scored 20 points, Luc Mbah a Moute had 19 and the 76ers erased a 23-point second-half deficit to win consecutive games for the first time this season.

Charlotte 108, at Milwaukee 101: Kemba Walker scored 27 points, Gerald Henderson had 16 and the Hornets extended their winning streak to a season-high four games. Brandon Knight had a season-high 34 points for the Bucks.

Portland 115, at Oklahoma City 111: Damian Lillard scored 40 points, making a tying three-point basket with three seconds left in regulation, and the Trail Blazers rallied from a 13-point, fourth-quarter deficit.

at Phoenix 124, Dallas 115: Eric Bledsoe got his second career triple-double and the Suns won their fourth game in a row. Bledsoe had 16 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds.
