Watch an 11-year-old open a Tiger Woods-designed course with a hole in one
The very first shot at a new golf course designed by Tiger Woods was a memorable one — especially for 11-year-old Taylor Crozier.
The South Texas PGA junior from Corpus Christi was one of a handful of children chosen to play Wednesday during the opening of The Playgrounds at Bluejack National, a 10-hole par-3 course for kids in Houston.
Crozier was the first to tee off on the 81-yard first hole. With Woods on hand to watch, the young golfer lined up ... and aced the shot.
The crowd went nuts. Crozier seemed a bit stunned. Woods was ecstatic.
“Are you kidding me right now?” Woods exclaimed after giving the boy a bear hug. “The inaugural shot, and he holes it!”
