Even 50 Cent can’t believe how bad his first pitch was

50 Cent better stick to his day job -- and he knows it.

The rapper born as Curtis Jackson has become a laughingstock ever since his attempt at a ceremonial first pitch before the New York Mets-Pittsburgh Pirates game Tuesday went horribly wrong.

But we’re not laughing at him.

OK, we are -- the meme with Indiana Pacers guard Lance Stephenson blowing the pitch very high and very outside is genius.

But we are also laughing with him. 50 Cent himself is getting in on the fun at his own expense. He can be seen chuckling at the horrendous hurl while leaving the mound.

And then, after tweeting “I’m a hustler not a Damn ball player. LMAO,” the hip-hop star even posted a video of the pitch on Instagram, along with a caption that says “if you look close you can see them moving the plate. Lol”

Maybe one reason he can laugh at the situation is because he knows he can do better. TMZ has posted video of him throwing strikes while warming up earlier that night.

Or maybe it’s because this is 2014 and we’re talking about 50 Cent, who hit his commercial peak a decade or so ago.
