New York Jets get blasted for misspelling in Thursday night promo
It’s been a rough season for New York Jets fans, whose team is in the cellar of the AFC East with just one win and five losses. Those fans felt a little more deflation this week, this time through a misspelling.
A promo put together by the Jets, and posted on their Facebook page about the Thursday night match-up against the New England Patriots, had a pretty noticeable typo, and fans let the team know it was insult to injury.
At the end of the video, a full screen message read: “Rivarly Renewed.”
The two teams are rivals. So, yes, their “rivalry” will in fact be renewed.
The word was spelled correctly in a re-posted promo, with the caption: “No matter how you spell it, it’s still a big RIVALRY #NYJvsNE.”
