Former Rams tight end Jared Cook agrees to terms with Green Bay Packers, according to reports

Tight end Jared Cook, released by the Rams in February, has agreed to terms with the Green Bay Packers, according to several reports.

Cook, 28, played three seasons for the Rams and caught 142 passes, eight for touchdowns.

Last season, Cook had 39 receptions, none for touchdowns.

Cook became an unrestricted free agent after he was released along with defensive end Chris Long and linebacker James Laurinaitis.

The Rams have two tight ends on the roster.

Lance Kendricks, 28, had 25 catches last season, two for touchdowns.

Cory Harkey, who also lines up at fullback, re-signed with the Rams this month. Harkey, 25, has 27 career receptions, three for touchdowns.
