Concierge vets

Training, obedience schools

Thank Dog: Has a variety of training options, including basic obedience, off-leash training and anger management. (888) 364-4256, For the bootcamp, there’s a $50 mandatory evaluation fee, and classes start at $20, with lower pricing for packages.

Goodness Pet Care: Laura Kody specializes in “affection-based training” and offers on- and off-leash training sessions for dogs of all ages, including special programs for puppies younger than 5 months. Five one-hour lessons, $300 to $350.

Groomers, salons

Day care/sitters

Walking services

Lucky Dog: Lucky Dog provides one-on-one and group dog walking services. Walkers come to your door, pick up your dog and take it on a half-hour or hourlong walk. Treats, water and a daily report card are provided. (917) 885-9486, Rates start at $20.

Walka Walka: Has been serving downtown L.A. since 2007, taking dogs out in groups of no more than four. Walka Walka walkers seek to teach dogs “elevator etiquette” and offers hotel and office services. Cat care is also available. (213) 459-3077, Rates start at $15.
