Crime alerts for Reseda, Rancho Park and 12 other L.A. neighborhoods

Crime reports are up significantly for the latest week in 14 L.A. neighborhoods, according to an analysis of LAPD data by the Los Angeles Times’ Crime L.A. database.

Seven neighborhoods reported a significant increase in violent crime. Reseda (A) was the most unusual, recording seven reports compared with a weekly average of 3.7 over the last three months.

Rancho Park (H) topped the list of seven neighborhoods with property crime alerts. It recorded 10 property crimes compared with its weekly average of 4.2 over the last three months.

Alerts are based on an analysis of crime reports for May 11–May 17, the most recent seven days for which data are available.
