Man shot while driving in Pasadena crashes car into house
A Pasadena man was shot while driving and crashed his car into a residence early Sunday morning, according to police.
Pasadena Police Lt. Thomas Delgado said the 25-year-old was driving near the 1300 block of North Marengo Avenue at around 12:30 a.m when he was shot by an unknown assailant. The driver, whose identity was not released, lost control of his vehicle and slammed into the front porch of a home, Delgado said.
Nobody in the house was injured. The driver, who was shot in the arm, was taken to a local hospital.
Detectives are looking for the shooter. Anyone with information about the shooting was asked to call Pasadena detectives at (626) 744-4518 or (626) 744-4241.
On Saturday two men were found shot in an overturned sports car in Westminster. Police have arrested a suspect, Ryan Paul McAlister, 27, in connection with that shooting.
