All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge recently returned from a four-game absence because of an ankle injury, but Portland still lost to Houston and Dallas. Point guard Damian Lillard, the leading candidate for NBA rookie of the year, is averaging 18.8 points and 6.5 assists. The Lakers are 4-17 in Portland since 2002.
