James DeGale to fight Badou Jack in New York on Jan. 14
They’ll meet in the middle.
England’s International Boxing Federation super-middleweight champion James DeGale will fight World Boxing Council super-middleweight champion Badou Jack of Las Vegas on Jan. 14 at Barclays Center in New York, the Los Angeles Times learned Friday.
Showtime will televise the bout.
DeGale (23-1, 14 knockouts) and Jack (20-1-2, 12 KOs) had haggled over the location but instead of giving either a distinct home-ring advantage, they settled on the Brooklyn venue.
