Las Vegas thinks Florida State vs. Ohio State is best BCS matchup

This week Auburn Athletic Director Jay Jacobs said it would be “a disservice to our nation” if the one-loss SEC championship team is left out of the BCS title game.

That will likely happen if Florida State and Ohio State win this weekend to complete undefeated regular seasons.

Las Vegas oddsmakers, however, think the nation actually will be better served with Florida State against Ohio State.

The Bovada.lv sports books makes Florida State a 10-point favorite over Ohio State but likes the Buckeyes in a title matchup against the SEC.

Ohio State is a 2.5-point favorite over Auburn and a 3.5-point favorite over Missouri.

Auburn and Missouri play Saturday in Atlanta for the SEC title.

Florida State and Ohio State are No. 1 and No. 2 in the BCS standings.

Bovada thinks Florida State vs. Ohio State is the most likely matchup at 4\7 odds. Florida State vs Auburn is 3\1 and Florida State vs. Missouri is 13\4.
