Louisiana Tech Women Seek Southland Sweep
The Louisiana Tech women’s basketball team will go for a Southern California sweep tonight when the fourth-ranked Lady Techsters play third-ranked Cal State Long Beach at 7:30 in the 49ers’ gym.
Tech (18-0) already has beaten USC and UCLA on its four-game trip, which will end Saturday at Nevada Las Vegas. Although the Lady Techsters have just one starter back from last year’s team, which reached the NCAA Final Four, they are the only unbeaten Division I team in the nation.
