Loyola Wins, 66-64

Freshman guard Steve Haney tied a career high with 25 points Thursday night to lead Loyola Marymount to a 66-64 victory over the University of San Diego at San Diego.

Keith Smith, who was averaging 25.7 points per game, scored just 10 for Loyola (11-16 overall and 3-9 in the West Coast Athletic Conference).
