Only Low-Alcohol Beer for Detroit Tiger Fans

LAKELAND, Fla. —
Low-alcohol beer will be sold exclusively at Tiger Stadium beginning with the 1985 season.
“We want people to be able to enjoy a cold beer while watching a ball game but we also think that this switch lends to a more healthy family atmosphere,” said Bill Haase, executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Four brands will be sold at the stadium, Haase said.
