Remaining roof panels will be removed from the storm-damaged Silverdome in Pontiac, Mich., so an entirely new covering can be put on.

The building, whose roof collapsed during a snowstorm March 4, won’t be ready for an event until the Detroit Lions play an exhibition football game there in August.
