San Diego Prep Baseball : Leslie Pitches a No-Hitter and Clairemont Tops La Jolla, 13-0

Share

Against Christian High School earlier this year, Clairemont pitchers Reggie Leslie and Jeff Sturch combined for a no-hitter. But against La Jolla Friday afternoon, Leslie had the no-hitter all to himself.

The senior right-hander struck out 13 and walked 2 as the Chieftains beat the Vikings, 13-0. Leslie improved his record to 5-3.

“It feels pretty good to pitch a no-hitter,” Leslie said. “Any pitcher would feel that way. I wasn’t aware of it until the last inning when someone told me that if I got three outs, I’d have a no-hitter.”
