Wilson Senior Is 1st-Place Winner

Eladio Chavez, 17, a senior at Wilson High School, has received a check for $1,200 for placing first in the 13th annual Future Masters Art Exhibition and Scholarship Program sponsored by the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce.
The program was established in 1972 to encourage students with talent in the visual arts.
Other winners include Tat Lam, 19, Marshall High School, $800 for second place; Sandy Allen, 17, Venice High, $600 for third place; and $150 honorable mention awards to Alessandra Moctezuma of Palisades High, M. Djawed Qudoos of Gardena High, Sandra Tamkin of Birmingham High and Helen Zheleznyak, Fairfax High.
