Glendora

The Glendora High School Tartan Band, a consistent winner of state and regional marching and performing competitions, has been invited to perform in the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland in August, 1986. The Board of Education of the Unified School District has approved the trip and the City Council last week gave its endorsement to citywide fund-raising efforts to help pay for band members’ travel expenses. The band went to Switzerland in 1972 and 1980 and to Scotland and England in 1976.
