Local News in Brief : Tujunga Cyclist Hits Car Near Acton, Dies

A21-year-old Tujunga man died after his motorcycle, trying to pass a slower-moving car, struck the car as it signaled and turned left off Angeles Forest Highway near Acton, the California Highway Patrol said Friday.
Franklin Scott Hudson died in a Los Angeles County rescue helicopter en route to a nearby hospital on Thursday, said CHP Officer Don Loughrey.
No one else was injured and the other driver was not held, Loughrey said.
