Randy Redell went over from the one-yard line to culminate a 12-play, 80-yard drive to get Crespi on the scoreboard first. The Celts scored again on anothe 10-play, 80-yard drive highlighted by two receptions by wide receiver Eric Kieling of 17 and 15 yards and runs of 12 and 16 yards of Jon Budge. However, it was running back Jeff Marconet, with a three-yard run, who scored. Budge ran for a 47-yard gain, put the Celts in scoring position again. Redell passed to Sean Howard to put Crespi up, 20-0.


Quarterback Randy Redell (C) 5 of 16 for 62 yards, including two touchdowns. . . . Running back Jon Budge (C) had 12 carries for 156 yards and running back Jeff Kellogg (C) had nine carries for 46 yards and one touchdown. . . . Defense end Eric Fuerstenberg (C) sacked Duarte’s quarterback, Henry Milton, twice. . . . Defensive back Mike Benson (C) also applied pressure to Milton, helping the Celts to shutdown the Falcons’ offense.
