NFL Commissioner Pete Rozelle will give All-American running back Kenneth Davis a chance to make his case in person for a special draft that would let Davis play pro ball this season.
Davis, a senior, was among seven players suspended from the Texas Christian team two weeks ago for taking money from boosters.
An NFL spokesman said Rozelle will meet with Davis Tuesday morning at league headquarters in New York to discuss Davis’ request for a supplemental draft.
