USIU Soccer Team Beats Fullerton

FULLERTON — The United States International University men’s soccer team beat Cal State Fullerton, 1-0, Wednesday in a nonconference match at Fullerton. Gary Vandemolen scored the lone goal at the 75-minute mark to enable USIU to improve its record to 8-3-1. Fullerton dropped to 6-4. USIU’s next game is Oct. 16 at 3 p.m., when it plays host to UCLA.
