Chapman Wins Consolation Bracket

The Chapman College women’s volleyball team gained three victories Sunday to win the consolation bracket of the Air Force Tournament in Colorado.
The Panthers defeated Cal State Bakersfield, 15-8, 11-15, 15-4, 15-10, Northern Colorado, 15-10, 18-16, 15-6, and Metro State (Denver) 15-8, 9-15, 15-6, 15-6.
Chapman, the 10th-ranked team in NCAA Division II, improved its record to 19-12.
Senior outside hitter Pam Winokur averaged 15 kills and 12 blocks in the eight matches.
