Pepperdine’s Weiss Beats Man Son Hing

Robby Weiss of Pepperdine defeated UC Irvine’s Bruce Man Son Hing in the semifinals of the Rolex Southern California Tournament at Irvine Saturday, 6-7, 6-3, 6-2.
Weiss advances to today’s final, where he’ll meet Martin Laurendeau, also of Pepperdine. Laurendeau defeated Brien Sullivan of Arizona State in Saturday’s other semifinal, 6-2, 7-5.
