CSUN Women 2nd in Division II Cross-Country

The Cal State Northridge women’s cross-country team finished second in the NCAA Division II championships Saturday at Marshall’s Creek, Penn.
The Lady Matadors, with 86 points, finished behind Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, which had 30 points. Indiana University of Pennsylvania was third with 89 points.
Three CSUN runners qualified as All-Americans by placing among the top 25 finishers. Alexandra Aguirre was 10th with a time of 18:26.6, Heather Brookes finished 22nd at 18:46.3 and Nancy Bowman 25th at 18:51.
