Appleberry Paces Christ College
Forward Derwin Appleberry scored 30 points and had 17 rebounds Friday night to lead Christ College Irvine to a 77-73 win over Azusa-Pacific in a consolation semifinal game of the Redlands Tournament.
The Eagles (6-2) will play Pomona-Pitzer for the consolation title today at 4:30. Brian Beal added 18 points for Christ College.
