Hundreds of Chicago Bear fans who camped out all night at Soldier Field were turned away when all 7,000 tickets to the playoff opener against the winner of the wild-card game between the San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants sold out within half an hour of going on sale.
About 1,500 fans braved freezing weather and camped out in sleeping bags at the stadium, hoping for chance to see the National Football League team in post-season action, team officials said.
